 Khao
Khun Krating Cave
This cave is situated near the 565 kilometers demarcation, 12 kilometers from Chumphon City Center along Route 41 near
Chumphon Luang Suan District. There are two caves which are 30 meters above the ground. There are cement stairs leading
to the caves openings. There are colored geometrical drawings on the cliff around the path joining the two caves. These
drawings could have been created in prehistoric time.
 Kaew
Kho Rum Cave
This cave is in village no.12, Banna Subdistrict, Muang Chumphon District. It is 25 kilometers far from Chumphon City
Center along Route 41 near Chumphon-Ranong District. There are many beautiful stalactites and stalagmites inside. This
caves interior has also two caves. They called Tham Lom is the cave that goes throughout and the wind can always pass
through it very well. Tham Kaew's interior contains strikingly beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, in various animal
shapes.
 Phra
Yai Temple
This temple is in village no. 1, Wisai Nua Subdistrict. It is far away from Chumphon City center to the South about 29
kilometers, along Route 41 near Chumphon -Luang Suan District. There is the Largest Buddha image of the southern
provinces established outdoor on the hill-top. It is accessible by car. There are wide car-parking and beautiful scenic

of Sadej nai Kromluang Chumphon Khet Udomsak
This place is in village no. 7, Had Sai Ree Subdistrict. It is 20 kilometers far away from Chumphon city center, along

Admiral Phra Boromawong thir Kromluang Chumphon Khet Udomsak. It consists of San of Sadej Nai Kromluang Chumphon Khet
Udomsak is at the north of Sai Ree beach. The Shrine faces the sea. There is a museum which shows about his biography
and things which he used. A large torpedo-ship named the Royal Chumphon is also here. It is 68 meters long and 6.55
meters wide. This ship was decommissioned on November 26,1975. The Royal Thai Navy gave the ship to Chumphon province in
1979. After that it was put near this monument.
Cho
Muang Hill
It's located at village 7, Had Sai Ree subdistrict. It's near a shrine of Khrom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak, is about 20
kilometers from Muang Chumphon. You can travel from Had Sai Ree beach along an asphalt road to the sea about 1 kilometer
and turn right into another asphalt road, and turn left up the hill, and keep going about 400 kilometers more, come to
Chao Mung Hill, and wide about 180 degrees, because you can see beautiful scenery of Thai Gulf. This place is scenery
observation spot of the beautiful south Chumphon Bay. There are a big good parking area and full infrastructure, so it
is very convenient to come here. Moreover, near the see and worship the Buddha image and Phra Thad Jedee Sri Chumphon
which Somdet Phra Sungkrarath (the highest monk) was the president of the Foundation ceremony.
 Thung
Makham Bay
This place is divided into outer Thung Makham Bay and inner Makham Bay. The bay looks like a line of 2 semi-circles.
Roughly in the middle, lies a peninsula made up of big and small rocks scattered surround in a mysteries fashion. This
peninsula serves as the bays divider. On the north side lies the inner Thung Makham Bay whose with sand beach stretches
along with a line of coconut tress about 1 kilometer.
Next to this lies the outer Thung Makham Bay whose white sand beach stretches for a bout 3 kilometers towards the south.
The sea front is full of coconut trees. On the southern most of the bay lies Suwan Kaha Waree Wongs Temple or Pong Pang
Temple whose surrounding areas are under coconut trees shed. At the back of the temple lies a cliff measuring 30 meters
wide and 80 meters long. It faces the sea.
 Samet
Island
This island is at village no.1 , Pak Num Subdistrict, far away from Chumphon city about 8 kilometers First, take a bus
along road no. 4119 (Chumphon Pak Nam) about 17 kilometers from this place, then takes the boat for 30 minutes away from
shore to get there. There is the beach at the top, and at the middle of this island. It is the Chumphon largest island
the end of it, there is a big well, Siamese fighting fish. This island is crowned with coconut trees. This supports it
looks beautiful and calm.
 Matapon
Island
This island is at village no.1, Had Sai-Ree Subdistrict. It is the nearest of Had -Sai -Ree beach about 1 kilometer
away. It is a small island with while sand beach, complete nature. The western part of this island is about 50 meters
long. It is also a swallow's nest concession island.
Ng-am
Island
It is at village no.6, Tha Yang Subdistrict. It is a medium Island, there are Ngam-Yai and Ngam-Noi, far away from the
shore about 17 kilometers. It is a swallow's nest concession island. The most interesting places are beautiful coral
reefs and underwater caves around the island. These island are best for diving.
Matra
Island
This island is at village no.1 , Had-Sai-Ree-Subdistrict, far away from the shore about 10 kilometers. This is a large
island. It has a white sand beach. There are two lines of rocks, one is in the middle of the west coast and the other is
in the South of the island. The island is good for camping. Apart from the coral on the west coast, this island has
"chick crabs" which love to climb up trees and cry like a chick.
Th onglang
Island
This island is in village no.3, Had-Sai-Ree-Subdistrict. It's area is approximately 3 Rai. You can go along Highway 4119
(Chumphon-PakNum) about 17 kilometers and pick up a small fishing boat from there. It takes 30 minutes. This island is
the medium size, it has a beautiful, white sand beach is 75 meters long. The island is surrounded with plenty of
attractive coral. The place is suitable for camping and relaxation. The depth of the sea around the island is about 1
meter. The tourists enjoy diving and fishing at night.
Rad-Island
This island has the shape likes (shino-shaped). It is in the southern part of the Chumphon sea. You can dive around the
island to see a wide diversity of beautiful marines lives e.g. the coral which grows in abundance, species and plenty
kinds of fish.
 Lang-Ka Jew
Island
This island is a swallow nest's concession. It has many beautiful scenery, round the beach the sea is about 3 meters
deep, there are many kinds of beautiful corals. The person who takes care of swallow's permit the tourists see the
beauty of the corals around the bottom of sea.
 The World
War 2 Young Soldiers Monument
It is on the left side of Chumphon Pak Nam Highway mo.4119, is approximately 5 kilometers away from Muang Chumphon
District.
The monument was built to honor the brave young soldiers from Chumphon who fought against the invading Japanese army in
1941.
Kula
Island

Beach
The beach is 12 kilometers away from Chumphon city center, along highway no. 4119 and 4098.
It is a large beach parallel with the road full of coconut trees along side and many good seafood restaurants.
 Phadaeng
Beach
This beach is another 12 kilometers beyond Paradonparp beach. This is another interesting place we would like you to
visit. It has a red cliff 10 meters high. From this cliff you can appreciate beauty of the sea, and beaches in that
area. Below the cliff lies many attractive rocks.
Sai
Ree Beach
This beach is about 20 kilometers away from Muang Chumphon Municipality a long highway no. 4119 and 4099. It's large
beach with front sea restaurants. Around the corner, there is the Monument of admiral Phra Boromawongthir Khromluang
Chumphon Khet Udomsak who found the Royal Thai Navy. This is a scared place of the people in Chumphon and nearby
province.
 Cho
Fah Sala Loi Temple
The temple is about 8 kilometers away from the municipal area. To get there you travel along an asphalt road for 6
kilometers and continue you journey along a laterite road for another 2 kilometers. At this temple Lives Luang Pu
Song-Chanthanaro, a famous religious teacher who passed away at the age of nearly 100 years and his body still remains
undecayed. This monk is revered by the people in Chumphon and nearby province.
 Khao
Phang Park
At Muang District-Tha Sae District border, Khao Pang Park is a new resort of the city. This Place is around 12
kilometers away from Chumphon city center along from Chumphon city center along Chumphon-Tha Sae Road, the park is cool
with many trees. At the front, there are and archway and a shrine of Sadej Naikhrom Luang Chumphon Khet Udom Sak. The
construction is quit beautiful. There is small hill at the back (measuring 800 Rai). It is being turned into an
observation spot and Army Color Television channel 7. You can go up the hill to look at these scenery. It will take 15
minutes by car, you have to go round the back by the sign board of the Army Television Channel.
