Location : Mu Ko Chumphon National Park, Amphoe Pathiu
Located in the northern end of national park in Amphoe Pathiu. Is a small island about 11 km from the coast. It has a rough sand on the south and a stone beach on the west of the island. Besides, it has shallow coral reefs, beautiful sea flowers and various fishes. That are good for fishing and diving.
Khai Island

Opposite of Bo Mao Bay, far from the seashore for 6 kilometers. Khai Island offers its beauty both ashore ands underwater to travelers. Especially the shallow water corals, it is as stunning as found at Lawa Island and Rangka Chio Island. The high season is during March-May. Upfront of the island is the white sand cape, forcing the bay formation on the sides, right and left. The fine sand is soft, clean and serene. Dead corals are gathering on the sand, inducing the eggshell color. The left bay offering round and small rocks, clear water and school of fish, villagers like to fish here.

There is no lodging, freshwater and restaurants on the island. Travelers must prepare them from the main land. If travelers desire to stay overnight for a private camping, Thalay Thong Seafood restaurant can provide tents, fresh food and water, equipment and a guide for them. The white sand beach upfront is perfect for swimming. Only 50-meter away following the buoy line, travelers can appreciate the shallow water corals including plate-like corals, brain-like corals. The varying fish including cartoon fish, parrot fish, sea hoarse and squid are all around. The tall cliffs in the rear are the scuba diving spot to enjoy colorful corals as beautiful as found at Ngam Noi Island and Ngam Yai Island.

This is a small island, up far away from Thong-Lang Island, you can see from the shore. Many tourists and fisherman stay here in order to take refuge from wind or storm.

Located in Chumphon National Marine Park, Lak Ngam Island is one of 40 islands and it consists of two granite pinnacles. Rising almost 5m out above the surface and descending gradually to a reef base at 27 m, the coral gardens, rock beds, crevices and caves offer some exciting diving opportunities.
Lawa Island

Lawa Isand is a middle-size island and one of chumphon Islands National Park. The island is filled with high cliffs and rocks without any community and freshwater. As it is a limestone island, the reefs are emerging only during the low tide and a small beach is on thewest side of the island. Lawa Isand is attractivefor its famous skin diving spot. Travelers at Thung Makham Noi Bay or Chumphon Islands National Park can hire a boat for a skin diving trip at Lawa Isand to observe anemone and various corals. Professional and amateur divers aould not miss this trip. The front beach of Lawa Isand is not only a nice white-sand beach, but also attractive for its shallow water corals and colorful anemone. During March-May, the island is also temping for skin diving by the crystal clear water.

Located in the East of Comphon coast, 1-kilometer away from Sai Ri Beach. Maprao Island is the 2nd closest island to the coast next to Mata Pon Island, locating at Chumphon estuary. The convenient way to get there is by contacting resorts from Sai Ri Beach or hiring a long-tailed boat from villagers. It takes 10-15 minutes to get there. Travelers can get a clear view of Mata Pon Island from Sai Ri Beach. It is a small island, permitted for bird-nest collection because of its high cliffs and caves. The only beach on the island is on the west side, opposite Sai Ri Beach. Travelers can board a boat to tour around the island and ask for a permission to step on the island from the bird-nest caretaker.

Although Maprao Island is alluring for its white sand, and clear water. Visitors need to ask for a permission to enter from a bird-nest caretaker. Maprao Island has many caves used for the swallows dwelling. In the laying season, travelers may not be able to appreciate the white sand and clear water on the island.

Located in the Tambon Sai Ri Beach, 10-kilometer away from Paradonparp Beach. Marttra Island is one of the shallow water corals and beautiful anemone. It is different from other islands is that it is a breeding center for giant clams. Travelers can enjoy diving as well as resting on the island. Lodgings are available as tents for camping and wooden bungalows for relaxing.

Marttra Island or Sumattra Isand or the local name “Koh Tung Guay”, is a large island under Chumphon Islands National Park conservation. In high season, touring boats will enter the island at the wooden bridge. The fee for entering the National Park is 20 baht/person. A 60-kilometer stretch of the sand-rock beach in front of the island and the emerald clear water is alluring for relaxation.

Marttra Island is one of the popular islands for men and women, children and adults. During March-May, a wooden pier at Chumphon islands National Park is available for travelers to enjoy walking along the beach and skin diving. The cape in front of the island is the coral reef line, perfect for a skin diving. It is also where villagers breed their giant clams as well. Skin divers can enjoy coral reefs, anemone and giant clams. Marttra Island is abundant with fish around the island because of the underwater reefs. Travelers can hire fishing roads from restaurants and Uncle Khao for a fishing sport.

Located in the Chumphon estuary, 500-meter away from the coast. Mata Pon Isand is not far from the seashore. Travelers can hire a long-trailed boat at negotiating price or walk on the sand dune during low tide to get there. It is a small island with a few villager houses. The radio station set up by Department of Hydrology is there to inform and warn fishermen on the weather. The attractive point on the island is during the low tide where the sand dune emerges and travelers can walk across to the coast. The sunrise on this island is also charming.

For from Thung Wua Laen approximately 17 klometers. Ngam Noi Island is far from Ngam Yai Island only 300 meters. Although Ngam Noi Island is almost twice smaller, it is similar to Ngam Yai Island in their beauty. Ngam Noi Island also offers a spectacular sight with its puzzled limestone, local wooden camps on the cliffs, and bamboo shoots on the cave front for collecting bird-nest. At front beach, visitors can take a pleasure in a skin diving. The most beautiful and well-known scub diving sport is Lak Ngam, location at beginning of the island.

Ngam Noi Island is small but beautiful because of its limestone formation. Local shacks scattering on the cliffs and bamboo shots lying against cave mounts show that the island is abundant with bird-nest. The sea in front of Ngam Noi Island called Lak Ngam is the most beautiful spot for deep water diving.

Far from Koh Ngam Noi about 200 meters. Koh Ngam Yai has similar features to Koh Ngam Noi with twice larger size, as the island is made of limestone, surrounded by high cliffs and rocks not beaches, and also permitted to collect bird-nest. The underwater world at Koh Ngam Yai attracts divers to visit colorful corals, reefs, and varying fish. It is known as one of the most famous scuba diving spot in the Gulf of Thailand.

Most travelers visiting Ngam Yai Island choose a package tour at Chumhon Cabana Resort, where it is also a deepwatr diving center. Adventurous travelers enjoy taking diving classes at Ngam Yai Island and Ngam Noi Island. The deepwater around Ngam Yai Island reserve the nature to its nearly original beauty. Divers will be amazed by antler-like corals (Acropora sp.), plate-like corals, brain-like corals (Porites lucea), sea anemone, and varying colorful fish. March-May is the perfect season for diving.

Located in the Moo 14, Tambon Nam Jued, Amphoe Lang Suan, 25-kilometer away from the office of Amphoe Lang Suan. Pitak Isand has an area of 712 rai with 42 households. Villagers are mostly fishermen and farmers. Residence locates in the front of the island, and coconut trees are in the rear. Travelers can walk around the island on the concrete walkway. There is a beach on the east side or the rear of the island. The exotic view of sand mix with emerging rocks on the 300-meter beach is impressive for travelers. The clear water is tempting for a swimming.

The emerging rocks are the spots where villager are fishing with their rods, an activity which traveler can join in. The concrete road leads traveler uphill to the viewpoint. The right side of the cape is a good place that travelers can visibly spot Tao Isand, Samui Isand, Phangan Isand on the clear-sky day. Every year in June, Pitak Isand will hold a mini marathon on the sea. It starts from Lang Suan estuary toward Krok Bay, on the sand dune during a low tide toward Pitak Isand. Villagers will open their houses for runner and visitors alike with one seafood meal offering. Total distance is 12.5 kilometers. It is waiting for travelers who seek a challenge during summer.

Located in the East of thung Makham Noi, Near Koh Thong Lang, 8-kilometer away from the coast. Rangka Chio Island is a middle-size limestone island with interesting historical stories and beautiful underwater world. Its nature is the most beautiful in Chumphon Islands with the white sand mix with scattered shells on the 50-meter beach. The limestone island is shaded with coconut trees and varying tropical trees. Several caves are filled with bird-nest and the clear water is alluring for a swimming.

Travelers coming to Rangka Chio Island, not only for shallow water corals and colorful fish, they can also enjoy the unique sight of limestone columns near the seashore. The signature and dated written by Kng Rama V on the stone at the cave mount is accessible for travelers by permission from a bird-nest caretaker. Rangka Chio Island is one of the islands that offering a beautiful underwater world. The spectacular point of this middle-size island is that it is the most natural abundance of Chumphon islands. Located in the Thambon Pak Nam, Amphoe Muang, opposite of Paradornparb Beach for approximately 2 kilometers. When mention Samed Isand, most people will think of Samed Isand, Rayong. Who would know that there is Samed Isand in Chumphon, not far from downtown as well. It is the only island in Chumphon that provide accommodation. Chumphon Samed Island Resort is a private report that provides package tours for travelers, as a 2-day 1-night and a 3-day 2-night. The package tour offers a worthy trip as it mixed and adventure with various relaxing activities.

Samed Isand is a large island with an area of 5,275 rai. Most of the island is the mountain area covered with coconut tree. In the past, a Japanese military camp used to locate here. Travelers can trace back the past from underground shelters on the way from resort to the private beach nearby, and the weapon-transporting pier behind the fishermen village which can be reached by boat only.

Talu Island is the best known diving area and is close to the coast. With shallow margins reefs and coral gardens, is the house of a large variety of fish. Located in the East of Thung Makharn Noi, 6-kilometer from the coast. Only 20 minutes by a long-tailed boat, travelers will be there. It is one of Chumphon Islands National Park. It is a middle-size island without residences. It is a mountain and shaded with beach trees. Travelers usually visit this island together with Rangka Chio Island, since they are not far apart. After circling around the beach, it is a perfect to relax at the beach on the west side.

The 300-meter dull and coarse sand beach but clear water is tempting for swimming. It is the one beach on this island. Fishermen usually avoid the storm by hiding their boats here. Beyond the beach is a beach forest that is perfect for camping. Travelers need to carry their own supplies including food and freshwater. One night on the island is a fine program to visit the island and appreciate the nice sunset view.

This island is in Thung Ma-Ha Bay. It's far from a coast about 5 kilometres. It is the biggest island in Pa Tue District. It has a high mountain which is good for fisherman to take refuge from the wind or storm. Besides, the island is the place for swallow's nest concession.
